However, with the Clean Installs, I have lost many valuable settings and data. I have performed at least six Clean Installs and they always seem to reboot without a problem. I have tried repairing the boot with my Windows 10 Installation DVD - no luck. I have tried the bootrec commands and they didn't fix the problem. with USB Storage, Primary Drive and CD-DVD enabled in the BIOS. Without my hard drive listed, I should never be able to boot directly into Windows 10. Doing so, often my system will then boot into Windows 10 - but the Desktop icons will be incomplete. If that is the only boot device in my Boot sequence, I am asked to press any key to boot from the DVD. I have my Windows Recovery Disk in my DVD drive. Windows 10 will not boot and the Macrium PE WILL boot. I have a double boot: the first is Windows 10 and the second is Macrium Recovery PE. I'll set my Boot Sequence - but when I boot, I get different results: It's not easy to describe all the issues I'm experiencing, but I'll try:Ī. Restoring from Macrium Reflect does not work.ĥ.

I'm wondering if my BIOS chip might be corrupted - or the BIOS battery might be wearing out.Ĥ. I've checked my drives and memory and found zero problems.ģ. I'm not familiar with settings in the BIOS that you refer to.Ģ. I've been using the A26 BIOS for years without a problem.ġ. Before I try changing my BIOS (which I don't think is causing my issue), I'd like to pursue everything else.
